Men of the Seminary Theological Department, 1916-1917.

Seated in the center is President Robert Clisson Woods. During Woods’ tenure Virginia Seminary experienced great growth. The size of the student body tripled, the size of the faculty doubled, and several buildings were added: Fox Memorial Hall (1913), Graham Hall (1917), Humbles Hall (1921), and the president’s home.
