In 1920 the high school program at Jackson Street School expanded from three years to four. The graduating class of 1921 was the first to complete this program. The class included (from left to right) William Henry Payne, Lessie Carter, Martina Lewis, Lilley Mae Rose, Katherine Clemens, and Mildred Garland.
