Objects from the Office of Dr. Hubert Diuguid, c. 1942

Hubert Diuguid was born in Lynchburg and educated at West Virginia State College and Howard University School of Dentistry, where he received his degree in 1942. His dental office was on Campbell Avenue. Like other African American dentists in Central Virginia, Dr. Diuguid became interested in the field because of the influence of Dr. Clarissa Wimbush.
