Office Equipment of Dr. David Harris, c. 1968

Dr. David Langston Harris was born in Lynchburg in 1929 and graduated from Dunbar High School in 1946. After earning a BS from Morgan State College in Baltimore and attending Meharry Medical College for a year, he received the MD from Howard University Medical School in 1959. He did his internship and surgery residency at Freedmen’s Hospital and was certified by the American Board of Surgery in 1971. His Washington, DC, office was on Eighteenth Street Northeast.
